IE IT Services Pvt. Ltd., is a leading BPO, based in Noida, India, serving some of the biggest companies from almost all over the world. With a huge raw space at their disposal, setting up a new facility, is basically an exercise in demarcating the appropriate and required area, and planning the interiors, as per the specific requirements and demands of the final client.

The first facility that we were called upon to design for them, in the year 2005, was the beginning of a very promising business relationship, that thankfully, continues to this day. Spread over a little more than 25,000 sq.ft., the facility had to accommodate three process halls, of three different sizes to cater to three different clients, an HR department and an accounts section. Plus, it needed to have a huge reception area, that could accommodate the huge number of interviewees that were expected to turn up day in and day out for the various positions that were constantly being advertised, to keep up with their huge staffing needs.

To make the ambience more vibrant, and to avoid long, monotonous corridors, we introduced curves and some odd angles, that served to make the corridors lively and interesting.

The process halls were kept simple, uncluttered and straightforward, in an attempt to reduce costs and to increase work output of the employees. Special attention was paid to the lighting of the whole area, so that each workstation would receive adequate illumination.
