One of our long-standing clients, M/s IEnergizer IT Services Pvt. Ltd., recently set-up an auditorium within their facilities in Noida, for training purposes. And Studio One Designs Pvt. Ltd., was asked to design the interiors. The audi had to be small and compact, yet state-of-the-art!

The design of the auditorium, posed a unique problem, of managing the acoustics of a space that was not meant to be an auditorium, in the first place. Then there was the issue of lots of dead load, as we setup a stepped arrangement of seats, for an effective auditorium-effect. Then, there was the huge amount of natural sunlight that was coming in through the windows, that, in fact was an entire wall.

The windows were walled up, uniformly sized pieces of strawboard covered up with foam and a thick cloth were clad on the walls, a thick carpet was used for the floor, and a toilet attached to the room was converted into an AHU to take care of the air conditioning. State-of-the-art equipment was installed to assist in making presentations and imparting training to the employees of the various processes within the facility.
