This year, saw us debut at the Domotex Fair in Hannover, Germany, as stand builders for the Kerala based firm, M. V. Joseph & Sons. For this fair we were working as sub-contractors for a Mumbai based firm, which had designed the stand, and sublet the booth construction in Hannover to Studio One Designs Pvt. Ltd.

The stand had a simple and economical design, with a raised false floor, a small store cum pantry, and the products were all screwed on to the walls. It was a no-frills design, with the entire focus, being on the display of the vast range of coir mats, that the client had brought in with him. Screwing the mats to the back wall, gave the client the flexibility to customize his display, as per his product designs, at the stand itself, for the best possible combination of colours and designs.

The above picture was taken when the construction of the booth was still underway. Unfortunately, due to a glitch in my camera, I wasn’t able to retain pictures of the booth, after the display was complete. Somehow, the final pictures got deleted from my camera, and this is all I have available.

The good thing however, was that I shot a few videos of the setting process of the raised floor, as it was being laid out, and recently, we have set up our channel on youtube, where we will gradually be uploading these and similar other videos.
