This year at the Heimtextil in Frankfurt, we designed and built stands for Divya Textiles, PAP Exports and Balaji Overseas. Divya Textiles, was a new addition to our growing portfolio of clients, this year. Based out of Mumbai, Divya Textiles, is a leading manufacturer of home furnishings and textiles. This year, they wanted to experiment with a custom designed look for their stand, as compared to the modular octanorm system display, that they put up every year. And for this makeover in their image, they chose us!

The design brief was to keep it simple, yet individually display not one, but six bed stories, in a stall barely 42sq.m. in size. This we were able to achieve by mixing up two regular bed stories with four vertical beds. Each of the two regular bed stories had their own individual backdrops, to enhance and to spice up the display, as well as to complement their colours and styles.

And then we added on shelves to display their cushions and quilts, their sets, and their complete range. Each shelf was lighted up individually for that added effect. The size and shape was also mixed up yet kept orderly, for a dynamic effect. The colour scheme was kept white all over except at places where we specifically wanted the colour to complement the display.

Even the sitting was mixed up with two formal discussion tables with four chairs each, and two high tables with bar stools for a more relaxed and casual discussion. Every inch of space was used up in one way or the other to display something, without in any way making the display overbearing and monotonous. The relaxed colour scheme, the riot of colours behind the bed stories, the lighted up shelves and the display in perfect harmony of the display, all played their own small parts to make up an attractive and powerful presence at the fair. That incidentally, was appreciated by most exhibitors who happened to be in the vicinity.
